Job description

Title: Project Manager (Cloud Migration)

Location: 100% Remote (Client Location - Philadelphia, PA 19104)

Type: 12 Months+ Contract (Possible Contract to hire)


We are working closely with the โ€œIS Program Managerโ€ of one of the largest and oldest children's hospitals in the world, and United States' first hospital dedicated to the healthcare of children. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager who exhibits advanced skills in collaborative facilitation and coordination of teams and customers on complex projects including a Clarity-to-SQL database migration project.


Hiring Manager Input:


  • Expert communication as this role will LEAD vendors including Accenture and Nordic Clarity
  • Strong PM candidate that is/was certified in Epic Cogito is a good combination
  • Big Clarity DB and Cogito DB project leadership experience
  • Large DB migration experience
  • Migrating Clarity to azure
  • Large Clarity migration
  • Must have strong Change Management skills
  • PMP Certification highly preferred
  • Experience helping the executives understand the impacts of the project (usually above and beyond what a normal project manager would do)
  • Able to address the differences that the implementation of this project will make to their systems and processes
  • C- suite leadership experience will be helpful.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Manages large projects of moderate to high complexity which may include the creation, coordination, and management of a project plan for major complex system installation or modification.
  • Utilizes established project management standards, processes, policies, methodologies, and tools to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Understands and complies with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Supports the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Technology Resources that process, transmit, or store information.
  • Supports all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations that govern the use and disclosure of patient, financial, or other confidential information.


Required Skills:

  • Experience with Power BI and Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with RBAC and CI/CD.
  • PMI member in good standing.
  • PMP certified strongly preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare IT, or related field required.
  • 7-10 years of solid experience as a project manager in IT project management with increasing responsibilities.
  • Networking knowledge and experience required.
  • Proven ability to manage all stages of the Project Management lifecycle.
  • Experience (at least 3 years) managing large, complex projects, preferably in a healthcare environment, and coaching other team members.
  • Exhibits advanced proficiency in project management methodology, tools, and practices.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in creating detailed documentation for complex projects.
  • Communicates effectively with project staff and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates effective consensus-building skills.
