Job Description: Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant / Architect
Location: Remote - EST (USA)
Experience: 8-15 years overall | Minimum 2+ Education Cloud Implementations (Mandatory)
Employment Type: 2 months

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Education Cloud Certified Consultant / Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions for education sector clients (Higher Education / K-12 / EdTech).
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Education Cloud implementations, strong consulting capabilities, and the ability to architect end-to-end solutions aligned with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
Salesforce Education Cloud consultants are expected to design, implement, and optimize solutions that support student lifecycle processes and institutional objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Education Cloud (EDA / Student 360)
  • Translate business requirements into scalable architecture and system design
  • Define data models, integrations, security frameworks, and governance standards
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines

2. Implementation & Delivery
  • Lead full lifecycle implementations - discovery → design → build → UAT → go-live
  • Configure Salesforce (Flows, Objects, Security, Automation, Reports)
  • Implement Education Cloud data model and student lifecycle processes
  • Support data migration from legacy systems (SIS/CRM platforms)
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce and industry best practices

3. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
  • Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and solution walkthroughs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams
  • Drive adoption through training, change management, and UAT support

4. Technical Leadership
  • Lead development teams and provide architectural guidance
  • Define technical standards, design patterns, and best practices
  • Conduct code reviews, solution reviews, and quality assurance
  • Mentor junior consultants, developers, and analysts

5. Integration & Data Management
  • Design integrations with Student Information Systems (SIS), Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and third-party tools
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance standards
  • Build and maintain ERDs and documentation for Education Cloud implementations

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features and recommend adoption strategies
  • Support ongoing enhancements and roadmap planning
  • Optimize system performance and user experience

Mandatory Requirements
  • 3+ end-to-end Salesforce Education Cloud implementations (MANDATORY)
  • Salesforce Certified Education Cloud Consultant (required)
  • Strong experience with Education Data Architecture (EDA)
  • Proven experience in higher education or K-12 domain
  • Hands-on expertise in Salesforce configuration and solution design
