Salesforce Administrator
Location: Riverside, CA
Pay Range: $32-37/hr.
Position Summary
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s Salesforce CRM platform as the commercial data backbone. This role designs and develops custom Salesforce solutions, integrations, and automations that support the full customer lifecycle. Working closely with various teams such as sales leadership, sales operations, and marketing, the Salesforce Administrator ensures that customer, dealer, and relevant data flows seamlessly between the digital platform and the CRM to deliver a unified Customer 360 view. This position plays a key role in enabling data-driven selling, pipeline visibility, and an exceptional end-to-end customer experience in support of the company’s commercial growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, Apex classes/triggers, and Lightning components, to support sales, marketing, and service processes.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and the company’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP), website configurator, ERP, and marketing automation tools using APIs and middleware.
  • Administer the Salesforce platform, including user provisioning, profiles, permission sets, roles, security settings, sandbox management, and release/version upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain the fleet Customer 360 data model, ensuring accurate, de-duplicated account, contact, lead, opportunity, and asset records across the customer lifecycle.
  • Design and optimize sales pipeline stages, workflows, quoting processes, and forecasting tools in partnership with sales leadership and sales operations.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide leadership with real-time visibility into pipeline health, sales performance, market coverage, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Translate business requirements from sales, marketing, and sales support teams into scalable technical solutions; document requirements, designs, and configurations.
  • Monitor platform health, data quality, and system performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements and automation to reduce manual effort.
  • Train and support end users, develop adoption materials, and promote CRM best practices across the commercial organization.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies, including management of customer data in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing, automotive, commercial vehicle, or B2B sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud configuration, Flow automation, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and the Salesforce security model.
  • Strong experience designing and building API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) between Salesforce and external platforms such as e-commerce/DXP systems, ERP, and marketing automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of CRM data architecture, data hygiene, deduplication, and master data management principles.
  • Ability to translate commercial business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency building reports, dashboards, and analytics that support executive decision-making and sales forecasting.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, IT, and external development partners, including international teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced launch environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Application Architect certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting a CRM implementation or re-implementation, including data migration and user onboarding, strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with digital commerce or configurator platforms is a plus.
