Immediate need for a talented Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer. This is a 06+ Months contract to hire opportunity with long-term potential and is location in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hour .Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the platform
  • Provide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated with implementing the project from business requirements gathering through deployment
  • Lead technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the client s business objectives
  • Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce.com implementations including: development of custom solutions and integrations; managing technical scope and client expectations; providing hands-on expert level assistance to developers for technical issues; and designing and managing the execution of test plans and ensuring a quality solution is delivered
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership
  • Be familiar with Advanced Apex programming concepts including core design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, asynchronous operations and effective unit testing
  • Be comfortable with modern SDLC best practices including iterative and incremental development, delivering working software frequently with attention to technical excellence
  • Adhere to coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
  • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure high code quality and design patterns are being used
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce CPQ product catalog, pricing rules, product rules, bundle logic, and quote templates to support complex quoting workflows
  • Support the upcoming migration from Salesforce CPQ to Logik.ai, ServiceNow s AI-powered CPQ platform, including requirements analysis, configuration mapping, and testing
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to translate quoting business requirements into scalable CPQ solutions
  • Coach and mentor junior technical consultants
  • Interview potential candidates as needed

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Must-Have Skills: Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick CPQ)
  • Apex Development
  • Lightning Development
  • Salesforce Integrations- REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce APIs, Integration with ERP, Billing, and Order Management systems
  • Salesforce Platform Development & Architecture
  • 5+ years of IT working experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills and ability adapt to varied audiences
  • Ability to capture requirements, design workflow, and deliver solutions
  • Understanding of business processes, workflows, analysis, and critical problem solving.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
  • Minimum 5 years of Salesforce/Force.com platform experience
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Extensive VisualForce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience
  • Web Services development or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData, etc.)
  • Experience developing custom applications on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Experience with Salesforce Admin functionalities
  • jQuery (or other leading JavaScript libraries) development experience preferred
  • Knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce
  • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database design and SDLC
  • Excellent client-facing written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce CPQ experience including product catalog configuration, pricing, approval workflows, and quote template design
  • ServiceNow development or administration experience is a strong plus given our upcoming migration to Logik.ai, ServiceNow s AI-powered CPQ platform
  • Familiarity with CPQ integrations to downstream systems such as ERP, billing, or order management via REST/SOAP APIs
