Job Description

The Specialist II, Learning and Development will perform routine new hire onboarding in support of the Strategic Sales team. This role will also play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of our sales team through the delivery of comprehensive training programs.

In this role you will:ย 

  • Facilitate the training of new Sales representatives on sales techniques, standard operating procedures, sales specific technology, and customer service best practices.
  • Conduct dynamic and interactive training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises that foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and skill application.
  • Maintain team member training records
  • Collect feedback from participants and management to continuously improve training programs and measure their impact on sales performance.
  • Follow the training curriculum as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum three years experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Intermediate Customer Relation Management (CRM) software preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fuel and trucking industry preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of company products and offerings
  • Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area
  • Applies understanding of business drivers
  • Responsible for providing guidance for colleagues with less experience
  • Solves problems in straightforward situations
  • This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
