What is a sales telecom professional?

Sales Telecom professionals are individuals who specialize in selling telecommunications products and services, such as mobile plans, internet connections, and networking solutions, to both businesses and consumers. They play a crucial role in identifying customer needs, recommending suitable telecom solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. These professionals often work for telecom companies, service providers, or third-party vendors, and may be involved in both inbound and outbound sales activities. Their responsibilities can also include negotiating contracts, maintaining client relationships, and staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.

What are some common challenges faced by sales professionals in the telecom industry, and how can they be addressed?

Sales professionals in the telecom industry often face challenges such as rapidly evolving technology, intense competition, and meeting ambitious sales targets. Staying up to date with the latest product offerings and understanding complex technical solutions can be demanding. Job description

Job description:
Experienced Telecom Field Sales Representative - Maryland / DC
Clarity Growth Solutions is hiring 2-3 experienced field sales reps.
This is not an entry-level sales position. We are specifically looking for people with prior door-to-door, telecom, fiber, solar, pest, home improvement, or similar field sales experience who already understand what it means to work a territory consistently.
The Opportunity
We represent major telecom providers across Maryland and DC:
  • Astound Broadband - DC and Anne Arundel County
  • Xfinity/Comcast - select Maryland territories
  • Verizon - select Maryland territories
  • Internet, fiber and mobile products depending on territory

Who We're Looking For
We need 2-3 dependable people who actually want to work.
You should apply if you:
  • Have previous D2D or field sales experience
  • Are comfortable working residential territories
  • Can maintain a consistent field schedule without being chased down
  • Understand that success in outside sales requires reps, conversations and hours in the field
  • Are coachable even if you've sold before
  • Want an opportunity to produce immediately and make money
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Can work independently while still being accountable to a team

This Is Probably NOT For You If:
  • You regularly call out or show up late
  • You need someone constantly motivating you to work
  • You're looking for a comfortable hourly job
  • You disappear when you have a bad day or a bad week
  • You aren't willing to knock doors and talk to homeowners consistently
  • You have a history of bouncing from sales company to sales company every few weeks

We don't expect perfection. We do expect reliability, effort and professionalism.
What We Provide
  • Established telecom campaigns and territories
  • Multiple major providers/products
  • Structured sales system and field support
  • Experienced sales leadership
  • Ongoing coaching and skill development
  • Opportunity for increased responsibility as the team expands

If you're an experienced rep who's tired of bouncing around and wants a place where you can work consistently, produce and be treated like a professional, we'd like to talk.
Apply with your sales background, the products you've sold, and the Maryland/DC areas you're comfortable working.
