The Sales Support Coordinator keeps our U.S. sales operations running smoothly by managing order coordination, customer service, and administrative support. Acting as the central connector between internal supply chain teams and key external partners—including distributors, retailers, brokers, and Asian grocery channels—this role ensures accurate order fulfillment, clear communication, and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Summary • Order & Logistics Management: Handle order entry, verify pricing, track shipments/backorders, resolve claim/shortage issues, and coordinate delivery appointments with logistics partners and overseas teams (China/Singapore/Hong Kong). • Account & Channel Operations: Manage day-to-day operational support for U.S. retail, wholesale, distributor, and Asian grocery channel accounts (including Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Filipino markets). • Documentation & Data Maintenance: Maintain customer files, pricing forms, item setup sheets, vendor portals, trade support documents, and account requirements. • Sales & Promotional Support: Assist with product launches, sample shipments, trade show prep, retail promotion tracking, displays, and marketing materials. • Reporting & Administrative Tasks: Generate sales and inventory reports, prepare meeting materials/agendas, track action items, and support management with onboarding and travel. • Communication & Process Improvement: Deliver clear cross-functional updates via email, Teams, and WeChat, while identifying ways to streamline workflows and improve sales operations.
Qualifications Summary
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. 3–5 years of experience in sales support, account coordination, or customer service. Background in food/beverage, CPG, grocery, import/export, or retail distribution is preferred. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills required. Experience with ERP, CRM, EDI, customer portals, or order management systems is a plus. • Key Capabilities: Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with strong written/verbal communication. Comfortable analyzing pricing, invoices, purchase orders, deductions, and sales reports while managing multi-departmental workflows. • Language Requirements: English fluency required. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred; fluency in Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, Tagalog, or Spanish is a plus. • Industry Context (Preferred): Experience supporting Asian/ethnic grocery or mainstream retail channels. Familiarity with imported CPG/food items (instant noodles, RTD beverages, snacks, sauces) and standard CPG operations (PO processing, case packs, pallet counts, lead times, item setups, and promotions).
WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE This role is based primarily in City of Industry, California. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with occasional flexibility required for customer deadlines, trade shows, meetings, or urgent account support. Occasional local travel may be required for customer meetings, warehouse visits, retail market checks, trade shows, or company events.
COMPENSATION Competitive base salary based on experience, language skills, industry background, and job fit. Recommended Los Angeles / City of Industry hiring range: $60,000 - $80,000 DOE annually for a qualified coordinator; looking for candidates with strong CPG, Asian grocery, mainstream grocery ERP/order management, bilingual Mandarin, or sales operations experience. Benefits, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, phone allowance, bonus eligibility, and other compensation details may be provided based on company policy.
