The Bulk Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting our teams in the collaborative oversight of commercial, operational, financial, contractual, and general administrative aspects of our bulk gas business. The Bulk Sales Support Specialist position is ideal for a professional who is well-organized, skilled to gather and leverage data from multiple ERP systems, and versed in commercial transactions related to sales, operations, and contracting in the industrial gas business, alongside strong customer service (both internal and external), communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills.

  • Serves as a key connector among our sales, operations, and project management teams with the goal of providing an exemplary customer experience for our Midwest Region's Bulk Gas customers and prospects.

  • Partners with our Midwest Bulk Sales Specialists with the efficient fulfillment of customer requests and initiatives, including but not limited to customer letters, billing questions, product usage data, salesforce.com, and contract-related communications.

  • Coordinates and nurtures key documents and commercial databases, including but not limited to Salesforce.com, Bulk contract database, and Google Drive.

  • Tracks and supports all new installations, removals, and key projects alongside sales, operations, project management, Safety, and AMG distribution teams to ensure proper project tracking, data management, and accurate pricing and project costs.

  • Actively participates in Project Review Meetings to support installations and removals, ensuring smooth Term Management and Billing implementation.

  • Develops and maintains a central resource to manage service installation data and paperwork, ensuring first fill and upgrade information exists to establish first fill dates and accurate billing.

  • Gathers and leverages data as needed from a variety of sources available to our Bulk Group-including but not limited to SAP, PROS, and BW-in order to empower and support our Sales, Operations, Finance, Pricing, and support teams.

  • Maintains organization and data accessibility from our internal business intelligence resources provided to support our customers, sales, and operations teams, including but not limited to Salesforce.com, Google Drive, and Power BI.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business/finance management work experience welcome.

Preferred Experience:

  • 2+ years related experience in bulk and package gas or related energy industry appreciated.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Thoughtful analytical approach.

  • Experience working across functional business units to develop effective solutions that align with company and department objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of the Google Suite of products including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

  • Fundamental understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting practices.

  • Ability to balance diverse priorities and workflow needs effectively.

  • Experience in project planning and management, including elements of scope, timing, budget alignment, risk mitigation, quality, integration, procurement, and team communications.
