Position Details:
  • Salary Range is $80k - $90k based on experience PLUS bonus
  • Schedule is Monday - Friday
  • Will need to travel up to 20% throughout the year
Position Summary:
As the Sales Support Manager you will report to the Division Sales Director. You will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising team while maintain a strategic relationship with the Sales Account Manager. A primary focus will be providing guidance and leadership to the merchandising team and the Sales Support Assistant. This role will be responsible for all weekly and sales reporting related to Smart Stock, PowerBi recaps, weekly trend reports, and any other report deemed necessary by the Division Sales Director. This role will also be responsible for managing all the expenses and OT for the SSA and the merchandising team. This individual should possess strong organizational skills, time management and most importantly leadership skills.
This role will be work directly with the Sales Account Manager with some field cross training with the Sales Account Consultant.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Modifying and distributing internal and external reports for sales team, vendors, and customers.
  • Overseeing and assisting the SSA with the management and tracking of customer rebates, and profitability reports.
  • Provide daily/weekly SmartStock reports to help identify underperforming stores.
  • Conduct once a month virtual meeting with the merchandising team
  • Provide weekly trend reports, GP profit, and other reports deem necessary by DSD
  • Provide program category management support.
  • Provide Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Conduct Annual (FMI) Focused Marketing Initiative meetings.
  • Inspect and consult so SmartStock customer agreed requirements are being met.
  • Ensure program Plano-o-grams are as expected.
  • Manage T&E for merchandising team to ensure team is delivering expenses
  • Completing daily/weekly CRM/Repsly activity reports.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Sales recruitment, coaching, development, and retention leading to a focused aligned team with corporate strategies.
  • Providing reporting at all levels to measure strategic success and progress.
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations with merchandising team and SSA.
  • Preparing periodic sales reports as requested by management.
  • Oversee and plan all reset for top customers
  • Manage reset fee collection and review
  • Working based at the Division and spending balanced time in-field to inspect what you expect from the Merchandising team.
  • Assisting and managing SSA with the preparation of presentations, reports, and communication

Required Qualifications
