Retail Sales Support Specialist - Produce & Deli
Are you passionate about fresh food and providing outstanding customer service? Do you have experience in produce, deli, grocery, or foodservice and enjoy helping customers find the right products?
We're looking for a Retail Sales Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for retail customers, supporting deli sales each morning and retail customer orders each afternoon. You'll use your knowledge of fresh products, ordering processes, and customer service to help customers receive the right products at the right time.

What You'll Do
  • Build strong relationships with retail customers by providing responsive, friendly service
  • Contact assigned customers each day to collect and enter produce and deli orders
  • Process new orders, order changes, cancellations, and credits accurately
  • Answer customer questions about products, pricing, availability, and promotions
  • Recommend seasonal products and communicate inventory updates
  • Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly while maintaining a high level of service
  • Perform warehouse walks to monitor inventory, product quality, and availability
  • Stay informed on seasonal produce, deli offerings, and market trends
  • Maintain accurate customer records and order information using company systems
  • Support additional sales and operational projects as needed
