Job description

Job Summary: This role supports the Business Development team by researching, qualifying, and preparing prospective opportunities so Business Development Representatives can focus on relationship building, client engagement, and new business acquisition. The Coordinator will use Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and other approved tools to identify target companies, research contacts, maintain accurate data, and create business development workflows that align with company growth objectives.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Research and identify prospective companies within target industries throughout the United States and Canada.
  • Evaluate prospective accounts and determine whether they align with company service offerings and target criteria.
  • Identify key decision makers, influencers, stakeholders, and relevant contact information.
  • Build, organize, and maintain targeted prospect lists for Business Development Representatives.
  • Create, assign, and maintain business development workflows and outreach campaigns in Salesloft.
  • Use Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other approved platforms to enrich company and contact records.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy through data review, verification, updates, and quality control.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging industries, projects, trends, and business opportunities.
  • Support pipeline development by consistently providing qualified target accounts and contacts.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Representatives and leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Assist with reporting, data analysis, prospecting metrics, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support future business development initiatives, including potential outbound prospecting activities, as business needs evolve.
  • Perform other business-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Education / Experience

Knowledge and skills typically acquired through a combination of education, professional experience, training, and demonstrated business aptitude. A four-year degree is not required.
