Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Digital Shelf Strategy Manager to serve as the primary point of contact on digital shelf matters across our eCommerce landscape, especially for Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, and Target. In this role, you will partner with marketing, ecommerce, sales, and master data teams to develop and implement digital shelf strategies that drive visibility, conversion, and sales growth. You will use data, testing, and cross-functional collaboration to keep our brands ahead of an evolving digital retail environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on digital shelf matters across the eCommerce landscape, especially for Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, and Target.
  • Partner with marketing, ecommerce, sales, and master data teams to develop and implement digital shelf strategies that drive visibility, conversion, and sales growth.
  • Test and learn content adjustments using Amazon's Experiments (A/B tests) to continuously improve and iterate titles, descriptions, PDP imagery, and more.
  • Analyze data and KPIs (e.g., content health, search performance, review sentiment) to provide actionable insights and opportunities for digital shelf optimization.
  • Manage coordination and collaboration between brand, ecommerce, sales, brokers, and creative agencies on the creation, maintenance, and optimization of all aspects of the digital shelf.
  • Build out Salsify retailer syndication channels to manage and optimize internal digital shelf content.
  • Stay current on evolving retailer platforms, ecommerce trends and strategies, and digital shelf best practices to proactively guide strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce, digital shelf, or digital content management (CPG industry experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital shelf strategy across Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, and Target.
  • Working knowledge of content syndication tools (e.g., Salsify/Syndigo) and/or retailer portals (e.g., Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Walmart SupplierOne, Target POL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO, GEO, keywording, and general optimization best practices for PDPs, brand stores, and more.
  • Proven ability to translate retailer and shopper insights into actionable optimization strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data sets, identify key opportunities, and present insights clearly.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Prior experience with creative workflows and projects, preferred.
  • Proficiency using Generative AI tools like Claude to solve business problems, preferred.
