About the rolePerforms sales activities by responding to inbound calls and web inquiries or by making outbound telephone calls for property/causality and life/health new business. Sales Contact Center representatives will follow the Sales Process to assess needs, make recommendations and sell auto and property policies over the phone. Sales Contact Center representatives will refer leads to financial representatives when they are unable to complete a sale. As the job family progresses it requires more focus on quality, execution, mentoring, training and development of entry level and intermediate representatives.How does this role make an impact?- Assists prospects in purchasing the correct coverage to meet their needs, preparing rate quotes a closing the sale. - Evaluates sales opportunities by obtaining important information through the COUNTRY sales process and forwarding these leads to the Financial Representatives in the field. - Advises prospects/clients of any additional coverage that is available based on basic understanding of underwriting rules/guidelines.- Enters information accurately and efficiently into systems to process all required documentation including: electronic application, endorsement forms and finalizing payment methods. - As the job family progresses it requires more focus on quality, execution, mentoring, training and development of entry level and intermediate representatives.Do you have what we're looking for?
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.

  • Previous experience in sales.

  • Experience in and understanding of the insurance and financial service industry.

  • Current Property/Casualty license preferred. Required to attain within 30 days of starting.

  • Typically requires 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hybrid: Allows 2 days remote work with 3 days in the office after training.

Base Pay Range:

$36,800-$50,600

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
