Job description

Be the founding outside rep for a new trade‑first quartz surfaces warehouse in NW Houston. Your mission: pre‑sell containers (50–70% before landing), place pair‑holds, and convert to POs—while protecting margin with our everyday pricing + floors.

What you’ll do

  • 10–12 shop calls/week to fabricators, installers, and kitchen/bath dealers.
  • Run micro‑events: Coffee & Holds (45 min) and Container Preview (90 min) to secure pair‑holds.
  • Sell our service promise: 7‑day pair‑hold (lot‑pure), next‑day pickup (order by 3 p.m.), Tue/Thu deliveries (2‑hour windows), 2/10 Net‑30 for approved accounts, free delivery ≥4 slabs.
  • Work the weekly Available + ETA list; text photos/QRs to schedulers; log holds in CRM/Google Sheet.
  • Onboard credit apps; coordinate staging & routes; keep claims clean (48‑hour decision with photos).

What success looks like (KPIs)

  • Pre‑sell coverage per container 50–70% before arrival; Holds→PO conversion ≥70% inside 7 days.
  • Price discipline: ≥85% of lines at/above everyday; 0% below floor (manager exceptions only on aged/Yard‑Finds).
  • New‑account activations: 8–12 in first 60 days with ≥4‑slab first orders; DSO ≤30; ≥40% COD mix.

What you bring

  • 2+ years B2B outside sales in stone/slab/tile/surfaces or building materials; existing fabricator relationships a plus.
  • Comfortable in a slab yard (PPE, early hours, occasional Sat AM).
  • Clean driving record; WhatsApp/text + CRM/Google Sheets fluency.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Pay & perks (OTE $90k–$120k at plan)

  • Base $55k–$70k DOE + commission on GP$ (3% at/above everyday price; 1.5% between floor & everyday; 0% below floor).
  • Launch spiff (first 60 days): $10 per slab on holds that convert ≤7 days post‑arrival.
  • Car allowance, phone stipend, laptop/tools; health benefits after probation.
  • Option: 60‑day 1099 bridge with conversion bonus after 2 successful months.

Territory: 50‑mile radius from our NW Houston hub (Hempstead/Brittmoore/W. Little York; West Belt 77043 corridor).

Email Jay, jobs@luxquartzvietnam.com with resume, a voice note on how you’d pre‑sell 50–70% from an Available+ETA sheet.
