Brief Description
The Manufacturer's Representative Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the representative network's activities and strategies to increase the company's revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Selection, and Onboarding of Reps
• Evaluate existing Rep Network
• Provide product training, enable technical knowledge transfer, provide sales tools and educate on company processes.
Training, Support, and Enablement
• Provide ongoing technical training on products, applications, specifications, and competitive advantages
• Offer field support, such as joint customer visits, technical assistance during complex sales cycles, or coordination with internal engineering/application support teams.
Performance Management and Accountability
• Set clear sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and results
Relationship Management and Communication
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with reps to foster loyalty and priority focus on the company's products
