Position Purpose:
The Pro Sales Representative works to build strong relationships with our Pro customers and executes a sales strategy to profitably grow sales for assigned accounts to support the organization's goals and increases the company's market share. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle of a designated portfolio, both existing and new, by identifying sales opportunities, managing a sales pipeline, and achieving assigned sales goals and gross margin targets. The Pro Sales Representative drives sales growth by proactively prospecting and engaging both new and existing B2B customers through high outbound activity, including cold calls, outreach initiatives. The Pro Sales Representative is also responsible for negotiating projects, developing tailored solutions to meet customer needs, closing sales, and resolving issues effectively and in a timely manner. The Pro Sales Representative must demonstrate broad product and services knowledge and utilize comprehensive business acumen and a knowledge of other functional departments to support the growth of their portfolio and effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 10% - Customer Review and Development - Engage with sales leadership to review sales calls, provide account insights and sales plan opportunities with manager. Participate in training sessions focused on product knowledge (including, but not limited to, building supplies, construction jobs, etc.), process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • 30% - Inbound Customer Engagement and Sales Growth - Resolve order and delivery issues with a professional support team. Resolve customer challenges by investigating problems and developing sustainable and scalable solutions in collaboration with the in-store Pro Sales teams and Pro Support team. Transact and tender, when necessary, with a professional support team. Follow-up on completed orders for feedback.
  • 60% - Outbound Customer Engagement and Sales Growth - Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest. Achieve prospecting and sales goals effectively and consistently by proactively adjusting to market changes, closing sales and achieving sales plan. Source new sales opportunities through ongoing prospecting via inbound lead follow-up and outbound warm/hot and cold calling. Drive incremental sales growth with assigned customer portfolio. Execute sales strategy by introducing both new and existing customers to our current capabilities, ensuring they understand how these solutions align with their specific needs. Strategically build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships by understanding and anticipating customer needs, offering custom solutions while effectively communicating competitive strengths. Effectively communicate competitive strengths and develop strategic goals to acquire incremental business.

Physical Requirements:
