Job description

 

The Hearing Care Technician will assist in hearing aid adjustments, repairs, internal prospecting, scheduling, and routine office maintenance. This individual will help build and retain our patient database and increase hearing aid sales. This position is full-time (M-F, 8:30am - 5pm) covering multiple office locations.

A license will be required for this position but we are willing to train and mentor any interested candidate in the licensing process.

Highlights:

  • Meet with patients and conduct routine/annual hearing screenings

  • Make ear impressions and molds, order products and supplies

  • Fit hearing aids and assist with adjustments, questions, and troubleshoot problems

  • Assist with repair and adjustments of hearing aids

  • Provide care and use instructions to patients

  • Conduct post-fitting orientations and warranty checks

  • Maintain patient files and perform clerical duties and other administrative support functions

  • Calling to follow-up with patients

  • This position will also require travel to several locations to provide support where needed in the Indianapolis area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Audiology Assistant license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license

  • Previous sales experience or customer service experience
