About the Opportunity

Home2 Suites by Hilton Winston Salem is seeking an experienced Complex Hotel Director of Sales to lead sales efforts across a diverse mix of leisure, corporate, and group business.

This is a hands on sales leadership opportunity for a hospitality professional who understands how to develop new business, grow hotel revenue, analyze market opportunities, and build lasting relationships with clients and key accounts.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a small sales team while developing and executing strategies designed to increase occupancy, revenue, and overall hotel performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a small hotel sales team of 1 to 5 team members

• Develop and execute sales strategies across corporate, leisure, group, and other key market segments

• Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, networking, and relationship building

• Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities to identify areas for revenue growth

• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, event planners, and other key clients

• Develop strategies to increase room nights, occupancy, and overall hotel revenue

• Coordinate and support events, group business, and client engagement opportunities

• Manage sales activity, forecasting, CRM records, and performance reporting

• Monitor sales results and adjust strategies based on market conditions and business performance

• Work closely with the General Manager and hotel operations team to align sales strategies with hotel goals

• Maintain strong relationships with Hilton and Marriott brand partners

• Represent the hotel professionally within the local business and hospitality community

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of hotel sales experience

• Previous experience in hotel sales leadership, management, or a senior sales role

• Strong understanding of corporate, leisure, group, and local market sales

• Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts

• Experience leading, coaching, or developing a sales team

• Strong prospecting, networking, negotiation, and relationship building skills

• Ability to analyze market trends and identify revenue opportunities

• Experience using CRM and hotel sales or revenue management technology

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with hotel leadership and operations

• Professional presence and strong customer relationship skills
