Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills help consultants effectively influence change and drive results within client organizations. These skills and qualifications are vital to diagnosing sales challenges, implementing effective solutions, and delivering measurable improvements in sales performance.

Compensation structures vary by employer and may include project-based fees or retainer agreements, especially for independent consultants or firms. Hourly pay is less common in this field, which emphasizes results and client outcomes.
