The Sales Operations Training Specialist designs, delivers, and continuously improves training programs that enhance the effectiveness of Customer Service and Sales teams. This role ensures consistent understanding of operational processes, tools, and capabilities by creating structured learning experiences, supporting post-training adoption, and driving ongoing knowledge development across the organization.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

Training Program Development & Delivery

  • Develop and execute a structured, recurring training cadence for Customer Service team members focused on operational processes, systems, and best practices.  Ensuring completion of onboarding training for new Customer Service employees is included in this responsibility.
  • Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand training sessions to ensure broad accessibility and engagement.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure training reflects current workflows, tools, and business priorities.

Post-Training Support & Reinforcement

  • Provide ongoing Q&A support following training sessions to reinforce learning and ensure adoption of new processes.
  • Facilitate office hours, follow-up sessions, and knowledge forums to address real-time challenges and gaps.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and adjust content accordingly.

Advanced Training for Sales Teams

  • Deliver higher-level training sessions for Sales team members to deepen their understanding of operational processes, systems, and capabilities.
  • Translate complex operational workflows into clear, actionable insights for Sales users.
  • Enable Sales teams to effectively leverage operational tools and processes to improve productivity and customer outcomes.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

Training Content Design & Optimization

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve training materials, including guides, presentations, job aids, and digital learning modules.
  • Establish content review cycles and version control standards for training and operational documentation.
  • Standardize training documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, modernize, and enhance training methods using innovative learning approaches and tools.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Service leadership, and enablement teams to align training initiatives with business goals.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders and trainees to drive ongoing improvements in training content and delivery.
  • Stay informed on evolving operational processes, systems, and enablement best practices to ensure training remains relevant and impactful.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and direct professional experience (7-10 years.)
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Customer Service, Training, or Enablement roles.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Design Skills (Canva) and content authoring software (EasyGenerator, Articulate, Captivate).
  • Strong understanding of sales and customer service workflows, tools, and operational processes.
  • Communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to solve problems and be adaptable.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with organizational and project management skills.
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, GSS, etc.) and sales enablement tools.
  • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience creating digital training content (e.g., LMS modules, videos, knowledge base).
  • Digital design experience of job aids, instructional videos, infographics, slide decks, and other learning resources.

Minimum Salary:  $67,982.00

Maximum Salary:  $112,680.00
