The Regional Inside Sales Manager role, within the AFO One Agilent Inside Sales Organization, is responsible for leading a high-performing team of 12-15 quota-carrying Inside Sales Representatives with geographic responsibility of a sales region in the United States. This manager drives revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer retention through effective coaching, talent development, pipeline management, and execution of strategic sales initiatives. This leader oversees a team with an aggregate annual sales responsibility of approximately $50M and serves as a key partner to field sales, marketing, and service organizations to accelerate growth and improve customer engagement. The role is accountable for attracting, onboarding, developing, and retaining top sales talent while ensuring consistent execution of sales processes and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 12-15 Inside Sales Representatives responsible for achieving individual and team revenue targets.
  • Manage a regional business portfolio with approximately $50M in annual sales responsibility.
  • Drive sales execution through opportunity coaching, deal strategy support, forecast accuracy, and pipeline management.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to ensure rapid productivity and successful integration into the organization.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning to maximize individual and team effectiveness.
  • Partner with field sales, service sales, marketing, and commercial leadership to identify growth opportunities and improve customer coverage.
  • Monitor key sales metrics, productivity indicators, and business trends to ensure achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
  • Implement and reinforce best practices, sales methodologies, and operational processes that improve customer experience and business results.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and customer-centric selling.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience as a manager, supervisor and/or individual contributor.
  • Experience managing large revenue responsibilities and delivering consistent forecast accuracy.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day sales execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and change leadership skills.
  • Proven success leading quota-carrying sales teams in a complex B2B environment is a plus.
  • Prior experience coaching and talent-development capabilities with a track record of improving sales performance would be ideal.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $128,475.00 - $256,950.00/yr USD in the US, or $123,667.00 - $232,706.00/yr CAD in Canada, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
