Sales Manager Rugs Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The NY Showroom Manager & Sales Support role is an integral member of the East coast trade sales team, based in Armadillo’s NY showroom. This dual-function role supports the Trade Account Managers, by assisting with quotes, orders, reports, and prospecting, while also ensuring the seamless operations of the NY Showroom.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and sales support to the broader east coast trade team, and maintain a polished, client-ready environment aligned with brand standards. This role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and a client-focused mindset to support the success of our trade sales function nationally. This is a full-time salary exempt role.

Key Capabilities and Behaviors Required:

• Minimum of 2-3 years in Sales Support role.
• Experience using a CRM – experience with HubSpot is a plus.
• Capacity to work flexibly across national and internation time zones.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished client-facing presence.
• Self-starter with initiative to identify opportunities and support team success.
• Proficiency with sales systems and reporting tools; detail-oriented and highly accurate.
• Knowledge of the interior design industry, trade sales, or showroom operations preferred.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
• This role may require some lifting of both samples and full-size rugs (about 50lbs). We have workplace policies in place, but physical ability to perform the task with assistance is required.

• Cover Trade Account Manager inboxes and assist trade customers when Account Managers are out-of-office.
• Support the organization and implementation of strategic initiatives as directed by the manager.
• Prepare and deliver monthly reporting, including sales, team interactions, and showroom traffic.
• Prospect new accounts by region on behalf of East coast Account Managers.
• Research and compile information on industry events, competitor activity, and market trends.
• Assist with expense reports when required.

Showroom Management: 20%

• Ensure showroom presentation and displays meet brand expectations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage sample distribution, replenishment, and organization for the NY showroom.
• Provide event support as needed, including showroom events and client gatherings.
