JOB OVERVIEW
The Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership support to the team and performing various tasks needed to help ensure that schedules are met safely. The Supervisor will be responsible for developing and leading a cross-functioning support team that services the organization with the best interests of the internal and external customer in mind.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)
  • Ensure ERP transaction accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and train teammates.
  • Lead process changes in Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handling teams.
  • Develop processes to enhance material flow and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with plant departments for efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Arrange materials and tools for efficient task completion.
  • Guide and assign daily tasks to the team.
  • Manage schedules and meet customer needs.
  • Foster positive relationships within the team and organization.
  • Motivate, recognize, and coach on safety, quality, production, and performance.
  • Promote a positive company culture through engagement.
  • Drive improvements aligned with company success.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-training for a versatile team.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures per OSHA and company standards.
  • Ensure employee compliance with safe work practices and standards.
  • Report equipment, performance, quality, safety, and employee issues to Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous leadership experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, or similar manufacturing role.
  • Proficient in forklift operation with full safety compliance.
  • Understands organizational goals and objectives.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CSI is beneficial.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills across all employee levels.
  • Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and time management.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Exhibits excellent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fosters a teamwork environment with a focus on superior customer service.

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Skilled in professional conflict resolution and strong communication.
  • Capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Possesses strong management and organizational skills.
  • Experienced in 6S practices with effective material flow knowledge.
  • Holds good references with excellent attendance and attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Familiar with ERP systems, preferably CSI/Syteline.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
This position oversees the Shipping/Receiving/Material Handling team.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel to other Robinson facilities may be required.
