Sales Manager

We are hiring a Sales Manager in Davenport, IA. The primary focus of this position is to generate sustainable, profitable growth by providing technical support and leadership to the outside sales team and customers.

Corrosion Fluid Products/an FCX Performance/Applied Industrial Technologies Company is the premier distributor of highly engineered products and lifecycle services to OEM customers across diverse industrial and process end markets. As a Sales Manager, you will spend your time managing a team of sales reps in a local marketplace. You will be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization; implementing and managing the sales forecasting.

Position requirements:

  • Strong leadership/management skill set; proven track record of leading and developing Sales teams; business acumen and strategic approach.
  • Technical/mechanical capacity/aptitude.
  • Experience in flow control industry: working knowledge of instrumentation, valves and calibration services.
  • Experience in outside sales/selling role within the industrial marketplace.
  • Computer proficiency including MS office-P-21 a bonus.

Preferred education/experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
