What you'll do...About the role- The Group Director, Technology Operations will lead the operational strategy, reliability, and performance of business-critical technology platforms, including Global Marketplace, Walmart Commerce Platforms, Last Mile Delivery, and Global Integrated Fulfillment (GIF). In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and operational excellence of the platforms that power millions of customer interactions, third-party seller experiences, order fulfillment journeys, and delivery transactions every day. As a key technology leader, you will drive operational transformation across a diverse portfolio of platforms supporting Walmart's omnichannel ecosystem. You will champion modern operational practices, AI-driven automation, observability, and reliability engineering to improve service resilience, accelerate issue resolution, and enable rapid innovation. This role requires balancing operational excellence with business growth, ensuring technology operations can support Walmart's expanding digital marketplace and delivery capabilities.
