About the Inside Sales Representative - Education (EDU):

MarketStar is looking for an Inside Sale Representative to join an industry leader in advanced AI systems and models, focused on the education space based in Salt Lake City! As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by identifying new business opportunities in education and nurturing existing client relationships. You will be responsible for managing the sales process from initial conversations to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for our clients. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with excellent sales skills, a keen understanding of technology, and the ability to manage time and relationships effectively.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah - On Site

What Will You Do?

  • Serve as a product and services advocate running the full sales process with clients in the education space, closing deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Manage multiple high-value relationships simultaneously with attention to detail, strategic follow-up, and a focus on long-term partnership growth.

  • Execute on a book of business while also applying initiative to self-generate opportunity.

  • Demonstrate a deep commitment to understanding customer needs, delivering exceptional service, and providing tailored solutions that drive satisfaction and long-term relationships.

  • Navigate complex organizational structures to identify business needs, influence strategic priorities, and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the sales and support teams to develop and execute sales strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

  • Stay up to datewith industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Proven track record in outbound sales environment; education, B2B, or SaaS sales highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to build and nurture trusted relationships with key decision-makers across education accounts, including C-suite executives, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate value propositions and business insights in a clear, confident, and consultative manner tailored to executive audiences.

  • Strong understanding of sales technology and familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems.

  • Ability to receive and implement feedback to continuously improve performance, enhance skills, and contribute to team success.

Compensation Range: $60,0000- $70,000 USD per year.

The hourly pay for this position is $28.85 USD. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $10,000 USD annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
