  • Strong CRM and PowerPoint skills

Overview:

The Territory Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by developing new business, retaining existing customers, and expanding key accounts. The primary responsibility is to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, communicate technical solutions, and achieve sales goals. The successful candidate must have proven experience in technical sales and proven ability to manage a territory, build customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. 

Job Duties: 

  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Achieve assigned territory sales and growth goals.
  • Identify sales opportunities, market trends, and competitive activity.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans.
  • Translate technical specifications into customer-focused features and benefits.
  • Conduct customer presentations and product discussions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
  • Build relationships with key customer contacts and decision-makers.
  • Communicate account status, opportunities, and competitive information to management.
  • Respond to customer questions, requests, and issues.
  • Manage territory, time, priorities, and sales pipeline effectively.
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.


Qualifications: 

  • Must have 3–5 years of technical sales experience.
  • Must have proven experience in business development, territory management, and account growth.
  • Must have proven ability to develop new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Must be fully competent in CRM systems and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Needs to be self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • OEM sales experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel approximately 60%.
