What is the role about?
Field Instruments and Controls, a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser, is looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Engineer to join their team in their Woodland, WA area. The Inside Sales Engineer will work cooperatively with the Account Managers and other employees of Field Instruments & Controls to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales goals with the primary focus on customer satisfaction. 

Which tasks will you perform?
   Provide in-depth technical, application knowledge and product support, including pricing and delivery information to customers and their representative's salespeople
   Review incoming orders for proper product selection and application. 
   Support Outside Sales Representative with lead qualification/follow-up, bid specifications and project bid specifications. 
   Answer representative sales personnel's questions about doing business with Field Instruments and Controls (tools and processes).
   Owns and directly manages certain sales initiates to drive business
   Primary duties include all quotations and responses to technical questions along with proposal development for single item and large projects
   Responsible for creating an exceptional experience with an assigned customer base, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and clearly communicating with the customer from start to finish 
What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):
   Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) or Business & Engineering (Sales, Technical Sales), or equivalent experience
   1-3 years experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM platform

You may have (preferred):
   Familiarity with working with end users, integrators, and/or engineering firm- a plus. 
   Technical aptitude - knowledge of instrumentation, gas detection, and/or valves is a major plus
   Professional sales acumen - consistently striving to grow and develop business opportunities assisting Outside Sales Representatives
   Recognize where supplemental/ additional equipment can be added on to an existing RFQ
