As a PerformYard Sales Development Representative (SDR), youโ€™ll be the first point of contact for HR and People leaders exploring better ways to manage performance. Youโ€™ll use a blend of outbound prospecting, personalized outreach, and strategic follow-up to generate qualified meetings for our Account Executives. This position reports directly to the Manager, Business Development and has advancement potential within the sales organization, and a compensation package that includes an uncapped commission structure.

This position is 100% remote - now & forever.

Requirements

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Proactively prospect and engage HR and People leaders (and small-company CEOs) through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with AEs to pass off qualified meetings and share key context.
  • Qualify and book meetings with intent downloads, ensuring alignment with our ICP.
  • Execute structured outbound cadences in SalesLoft. Mixing calls, emails, and social touches.
  • Use tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce to research and target accounts.
  • Maintain organized records of prospect interactions and progress in our CRM, ensuring accurate data to support smooth handoffs to the sales team.
  • Continuously refine messaging through feedback, coaching, and data insights.
  • Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the SDR role to Manager and Sales Enablement.
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1โ€“2 years of experience in a sales or prospecting role (SaaS experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Youโ€™re confident talking to HR leaders and executives.
  • A strong sense of curiosity and determination, with a clear drive to learn, grow, and accomplish measurable goals.
  • Comfortable working with tools like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, HubSpot, Qualified, and more.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily outreach activities.
  • A high degree of resilience, consistently recovering quickly from challenges and setbacks.
  • You bring a growth-oriented mindset and are willing to take on challenges as they come.
