Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to achieve and exceed pipeline and activity targets.

  • Build and manage a high-volume outbound prospecting process centered around cold calling and qualified meeting generation.

  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure BDRs target the right prospects and generate high-quality opportunities.

Job description

Who we are:
Nitra's mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible.  Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.

We operate with urgency, intensity, and ambition. The bar is high because the opportunity is massive. We expect excellence, ownership, and intellectual rigor from every team member. We move fast, make bold decisions, and hold ourselves accountable to results. At the same time, we believe great companies are built on trust and respect. Every voice matters. Every contribution counts. When we win, we win together.

We are scaling rapidly and on a clear trajectory toward becoming a unicorn this year — and beyond. Our growth is not accidental; it’s the result of disciplined execution, relentless focus, and a team that refuses to settle. We are building a category-defining company, and we’re looking for people who want to do the most meaningful work of their careers.

If you want comfort, this isn’t the place.
If you want impact, ownership, and the chance to help build a generational fintech company, welcome.

Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Capsule, Plaid, Bloomberg, Meta, Facebook, and Mastercard. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.
We're looking for:
  • We are seeking a BDR Manager located in the NY area. This individual will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives responsible for generating pipeline through extensive outbound prospecting and cold calling.
  • The ideal candidate is a hands-on, experienced sales leader who can immediately step in and lead a BDR organization. You should have a proven track record of managing high-volume outbound teams, coaching reps to success, and building a culture of accountability and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to consistently achieve and exceed pipeline and activity targets.
  • Build and manage a high-volume outbound motion centered around cold calling, prospecting, and qualified meeting generation.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and coaching sessions to improve rep performance, messaging, objection handling, and conversion.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop BDRs as the team grows.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Sales leadership to ensure BDRs are targeting the right prospects and generating high-quality opportunities.
  • Own team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase productivity and conversion.
  • Develop and refine outbound messaging, call scripts, prospecting strategies, and sales processes.
  • Attend conferences and industry events to support lead generation and prospect engagement.
You have:
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing BDR/SDR teams in a high-volume outbound sales environment.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful outbound teams with a strong emphasis on cold calling.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach reps on the phone, improve performance, and consistently deliver against pipeline and activity targets.
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing BDR talent.
  • Strong understanding of BDR metrics, sales processes, and pipeline generation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining a high standard of accountability.
  • Highly competitive, driven, and results-oriented with a passion for sales and developing people.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, 100% in-person environment and willing to be hands-on with the team.
  • Experience selling into healthcare is a plus.
We offer:
  • Equity - Everyone at Nitra is an owner. When the company wins, you win
  • Competitive Salary - You’re the best of the best, and your salary will reflect your experience and reward your contributions to Nitra
  • Health Care - Your health comes first. We offer comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance options.
