Ecolab, Bioprocessing is looking for a Business Development Sales Managerto uncover new opportunitiesfor sales ofPurolitechromatography resinswithin the bioprocessing space.You will be responsible for prospecting and nurturing leads within your assigned territory, leveraging your exceptional communication and research skills to identifynew sales opportunities.Your key objective is to qualify prospects through discovery calls, ensuring that they align withour target customer criteria, including sampling where appropriate.Once qualified, you willpartner withyour dedicated Sales Managerin order tofurther develop these relationshipstoward evaluation andclosingnew business opportunities.

What Will You Do:

  • Engage potential customers via social media and email campaigns to expand thePuroliteresinssales pipeline.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations to refine molecule(mAb)information andmonitorupdates asprospectivebiotech companies advance their programsthrough clinical trials.

  • Achieve weekly and monthly goals for outreach, meetings, and pipeline creation

  • Followup withinquiries from tradeshows, webinars, marketing qualified leads to furtherdrive the development of new sales opportunities

  • Maintainaccuratesales opportunityactivity and pipeline data inCRM

  • Co-ordinate the establishment of CDAs with new clients and Ecolab Life Sciences - Bioprocessing.

  • Work cooperatively with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns and messaging to build brand awareness forPuroliteresins.

  • Leads, updates and maintains all relevant activities in the client database for the assigned territory to ensure its data is accurate and current.

  • Will be responsibleto generateleads andsales on new business as defined

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3years of lead-generation or sales-development experienceinthelife sciences industry

  • Regular travel in definedterritory(anticipated to beupto50%)

  • Experience working in theBioprocessingindustry

  • Previous experienceworking with or selling chromatography resins or within a downstream bioprocessing setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such asbiotechnology,pharmaceuticals; chemistry/biochemistryor biology

  • 6years of lead-generation or sales-development experienceinthelife sciences industry

  • Strongunderstanding of mammalian cell culture for antibody production

  • Strong Prospecting skills and aptitude for sales.Previous specialized salestraining includingdemonstration/presentation skills

  • Experience withLinkedInSales Navigator lead generation

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written

  • Highly driven,self-motivated,and collaborative

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $126,900-$190,200 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms.
