What You'll Be Doing
As a Sales Department Intern, you'll work alongside experienced sales professionals and motivated teams while learning the ins and outs of agricultural equipment sales. This internship prepares you for a rewarding sales career by exposing you to equipment appraisals, customer service, marketing, and precision ag technology.
You will:
  • Learn to appraise used equipment and determine book values with the Remarketing Group
  • Shadow sales reps to learn customer service, appraisals, demos, and quoting
  • Assist with delivering new and used equipment
  • Help with advertising and marketing by uploading photos, videos, and product descriptions into MachineFinder
  • Educate potential customers about product incentives and John Deere financing options
  • Gain exposure to ISG products, JDLink, Harvest Mobile, AutoTrac, and other software
  • Analyze data to help customers improve operations
  • Learn industry trends and John Deere product lines
  • Assist with equipment demos, customer training, retail displays, and other assigned tasks
