Business Analyst

What is a Business Analyst?
The Business Analyst will support the Sales and Operations teams by executing tasks related to the Quote to Cash processes. The Business Analyst will generate and distribute sales related reporting to the management team as necessary and be directly involved in new customer onboarding and current customer support.
In this role, you will:
Sales Order Management:
  • Assist in the creation of customer quotes for product needs in SAP coordinating pricing with Oso Sales
  • Create sales orders in SAP and process to completion
  • Invoice customers in SAP based on product deliveries

Sales Reporting:
  • Update and manage the Sales Pipeline Report
  • Generate various historical sales reports for management
  • Create Enverus fed activity based reports for Sales

Operations Support:
  • Various Logistics related tasks
  • Ancillary part sales processing
  • Any activities that reside in the Operations team

Other key activities:
  • Represent Oso at various industry related conferences e.g. SPE
  • Support the Vice President of Business Development in customer engagement such as meetings and reporting
  • Minimal travel required (must possess a valid driver's license and meet the company driver requirement to operate a company vehicle while traveling)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required and Preferred Abilities:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience -
  • ERP experience preferably in SAP (1-2 years)
  • Interpersonal skills and effective communication with all levels both verbally and in writing
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimum of supervision in a multi-task, dynamic team environment
  • Proficient in understanding the Quote to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report processes
  • Review financial statements and understand generally accepted accounting principles
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate with fingers, handle, or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and reach with hands and arms
  • Required to talk or hear
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. (SEF Energy employees shall not manually lift an item weighing more than 50 lbs., they shall utilize mechanical assistance devices. If mechanical assistance devices are not available, utilize a team lift.)
  • Ability to see at a close distance (clear vision at 20 inches or less), see at a long distance (clear vision at 20 feet or more), identify and distinguish colors, observe an area that can be seen up and down or left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, judge distances and spatial relationships, three-dimensional vision, adjust focus (adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, marketing, or administration
