Sales Operations Analyst - Montreal


THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Analyst to support and enhance decision-making across the sales organization. This role requires expertise in sales analytics, process improvement, reporting, forecasting, and CRM management. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales/Business Development, Program Management, Sales Support, and Finance teams to drive operational efficiency and provide actionable business insights.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate recurring revenue reports and pipeline metrics to measure performance against sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards to visualize sales performance, pipeline health, and key business metrics for senior leadership.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to deliver meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and cleanup activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Prepare and maintain weekly sales and billing forecasts.
  • Support the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans through data-driven analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to align forecasts with organizational goals and objectives.

CRM Management (Salesforce)

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce CRM platform, ensuring data integrity and system effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or internal stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement CRM enhancements and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain CRM reports and dashboards to monitor sales activities, pipeline performance, and key metrics.

Sales Tools & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales tools and technologies to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and enhance operational performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work additional hours as required to support business needs.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, revenue operations, or a related role.
  • Proficiency with Power BI is required; experience with SQL is preferred.
  • Strong experience administering and reporting from Salesforce CRM.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting industry is considered an asset.

RESPONSABILITES PRINCIPALES

Rapports et analyses

  • Produire des rapports recurrents sur les revenus et les indicateurs du pipeline des ventes afin de mesurer la performance par rapport aux objectifs etablis.
  • Developper, maintenir et ameliorer des tableaux de bord interactifs permettant de visualiser la performance des ventes, la sante du pipeline et les principaux indicateurs d'affaires destines a la haute direction.
  • Utiliser des outils de visualisation de donnees afin de generer des analyses pertinentes favorisant la prise de decision.
  • Effectuer des revues regulieres du pipeline des ventes et assurer la qualite, l'exactitude et la pertinence des donnees.

Previsions et planification

  • Preparer et maintenir les previsions hebdomadaires des ventes et de la facturation.
  • Contribuer a l'elaboration des previsions de ventes, des budgets et des plans d'affaires grace a des analyses fondees sur les donnees.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes des ventes et des finances afin d'assurer l'alignement des previsions avec les objectifs organisationnels.

Gestion du CRM (Salesforce)

  • Administrer et maintenir la plateforme CRM Salesforce en assurant l'integrite et l'efficacite des donnees.
  • Diagnostiquer les problemes lies au systeme et coordonner leur resolution avec les fournisseurs ou les intervenants internes.
  • Identifier, recommander et mettre en uvre des ameliorations du CRM ainsi que des optimisations de processus.
  • Concevoir et maintenir des rapports et tableaux de bord CRM permettant de suivre les activites de vente, la performance du pipeline et les indicateurs cles.

Outils de vente et amelioration des processus

  • Evaluer, implanter et gerer les outils et technologies de vente afin d'ameliorer l'efficacite et la performance des equipes commerciales.
  • Identifier des occasions d'optimisation et de simplification des processus de vente.
  • Effectuer toute autre tache connexe selon les besoins.
  • Travailler des heures supplementaires au besoin afin de repondre aux exigences operationnelles.


PROFIL RECHERCHE

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalaureat en administration des affaires, en finance, en analytique ou dans un domaine connexe, ou combinaison equivalente de formation et d'experience.
  • Minimum de trois (3) annees d'experience dans un role similaire en operations des ventes, en analytique d'affaires, en gestion des revenus ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Maitrise de Power BI requise; connaissance de SQL consideree comme un atout.
  • Experience solide avec Salesforce CRM, incluant l'administration et la production de rapports.
  • Excellente maitrise de Microsoft Excel, notamment pour l'analyse de donnees, la modelisation et la creation de rapports.
  • Experience avec les systemes ERP.
  • Excellentes aptitudes analytiques et de resolution de problemes.
  • Solides competences en communication et en collaboration avec des equipes multidisciplinaires.
  • Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites dans un environnement dynamique.
