Basic Function
Under the direction of the Sales & Events Manager, answers questions and completes bookings for group outings at Indiana Beach.
Specific Responsibilities
• Answers incoming phone calls for group inquiries.
• Forwards large events of >50 and picnics to Sales & Events Manager.
• Answers questions for guests regarding group rates, group options, etc.
• Sends group booking information to potential groups via email.
• Drafts agreements and sends to potential groups.
• Enters group bookings into booking system.
• Warmly greets guests upon arrival, makes account adjustments, accepts payment and provides wristbands.
• Maintains Master Groups Spreadsheet with Sales & Events Manager.
• Maintains pavilion booking schedule with Sales & Events Manager.
• Drafts weekly groups report with Sales & Events Manager.
• Performs other duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Customer service expert that can communicate, develop and maintain close relationships with clients, maintain customer satisfaction and handle guest concerns.
• Exemplary phone etiquette.
• Organizational skills at keeping records, reports and logs.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately draft documents, draft and send emails with attachments, ability to save files in various formats and ability to maintain data integrity in spreadsheets.
• Ability to think on your feet, make decisions and troubleshoot problems.
• Drive to represent Indiana Beach with integrity, professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Ability to remain calm and focus on the task at hand during busy periods.
• Must be available on Saturdays.
