  • Proactively engage existing appointed agencies to evaluate their books of business, identify growth opportunities, increase submissions, and drive premium production
  • Train agents on insurance products, underwriting appetite, coverage offerings, policy guidelines, and submission procedures
  • Conduct regular agency visits, virtual meetings, phone calls, and account reviews to strengthen agency relationships and increase production

  • Monitor agency production, premium growth, pipeline activity, and agency performance within the assigned territory
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with agency partners and support business development efforts

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a carrier-side Account Executive, Agency Development Manager, Marketing Representative, Territory Manager, or Wholesale Broker role
  • Experience growing agency relationships and consistently achieving production targets

  • Experience working with admitted and/or surplus lines insurance products
  • Experience with residential property insurance programs supporting real estate investors, landlords, rental properties, vacant properties, dwelling fire, or similar property risks
  • Experience collaborating with underwriting teams to move submissions through the underwriting process
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory to conduct agency visits, develop agency relationships, and support business growth.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 85k - 135k/year range, as well as a discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, Roth, PTO, paid holidays, etc.
