Job description

Laser Printers & Mailing Services is seeking a detail-oriented Data Processor / Variable Data Print Production Specialist to join our production team.

Position Summary

This role focuses on processing customer data files through established print and mailing software, reviewing output for accuracy, preparing samples for client approval, and assisting with print production once approval is received.

On a typical day, you will receive customer data files, process them through multiple internal and industry-specific programs, review the final output, and prepare samples for client approval. Once approval is received, you may also be responsible for printing the files you processed.

This position requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple jobs at one time. On an average day, you may process up to 20 different data files.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and organize customer data files
  • Process files through multiple print and mailing software programs
  • Review processed files for accuracy, formatting, counts, and job requirements
  • Prepare samples/proofs for client approval
  • Follow job instructions carefully and meet production deadlines
  • Print approved files as needed
  • Communicate with team members regarding job status, questions, or issues
  • Maintain accuracy while handling multiple projects at once
  • Learn and follow internal procedures for data processing, proofing, and production
