Posting Summary
Within the discipline for courses in Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026 and/or Summer 2026,the Gender Studies program at Rutgers University-Camden invites applications for lecturer positions. We seek candidates with effective teaching experience who can teach online (Canvas), on campus, and/or at off campus locations and who can teach introductory and advanced courses in women's studies, gender, masculinities, transgender studies, and queer/LGBTQIA+ studies. The position may carry with it an opportunity to participate in campus programming planning around gender studies.
Gender Studies is a joint academic major and minor and offers courses in masculinities, queer studies, and women's studies. For information about the program see https://genderstudies.camden.rutgers.edu.

Statement
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences are the largest academic unit at Rutgers-Camden, delivering a wide array of degree programs at the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and fine arts. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences includes three schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, University College, and the Graduate School.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
