Job description

Location: Canton, MI, USA

What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect to join our Cybersecurity team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead the design and architecture of IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle, access governance, and privileged access
  • Define standards and guide implementation of IGA, PAM, MFA, and SSO capabilities
  • Evaluate and support the implementation of IAM tools and platforms
  • Partner with IT and business teams to integrate IAM across systems and applications
  • Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity strategy, compliance, and enterprise architecture
  • Identify opportunities to improve security, efficiency, and user experience
What you will bring to the table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or IT architecture
  • Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
  • Experience with PAM and/or IGA tools (e.g., CyberArk, SailPoint, Entra ID)
  • Background in Active Directory and enterprise authentication technologies
  • Preferred certifications such as CISSP or CISM
  • Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
