Position Summary

Responsible for analyzingand monitoring the creditworthiness of the Bank's customers.ย  Analyzes financial statements and tax returnsto evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying forcredit with the Bank.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Obtain loanrequest information from Commercial Bankers or Borrowers to analyze creditinformation, financial statements and other related information pertaining tothe loan.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Spread financialstatements for Commercial Bankers into the Abrigo/Sageworks System.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Review andprepare written analysis, spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and recommendationsbased on risks, credit and collateral.ย Assist in presentation of findings to the Lenders.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Understand thebackground of Borrowers and be able to communicate, both in writing andverbally, the strengths and weaknesses of a credit.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Prepare memos forthe Commercial Bankers, if needed

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Creditunderwriting.

Qualifications

ย ย  Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance orrelated field or a minimum of 2 years of related experience in loan review orcommercial lending; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ย ย  Effective oral and written communication skills.

ย ย  Ability to compute complex math calculations.

ย ย  Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.ย  Ability to interpret a variety of informationfurnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

ย ย  Ability to prioritize.

ย ย  Effective time management skills.

ย ย  Proficiency in using personal computers and officeproducts (e.g., Word, Excel).
