Read wiring schematics and system block diagrams.
Basic AC/DC theory

Must have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, EET, MET, ME, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent technical degree, or 12 years equivalent related experience in lieu of degree
One year of related experience preferred.
Competent user of incumbent CAD (currently Pro-E and Catia V5) and data management systems.
A working knowledge of the principle of electrical installation and system integration and design
Ability to understand and derive multiple customer standard electrical system requirements
Must be able to provide lay-outs and program design studies.
Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
Ability to read and review written communication.
