Archer Meat Snacks, the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel, is looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our growing Operations team in San Bernardino, CA.

In this role, youโ€™ll play a key part in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment across our manufacturing plant. Youโ€™ll assist in implementing safety programs, conducting training, ensuring OSHA compliance, and promoting a culture of safety across all departments.

What Youโ€™ll Own & Impact:
โ€ข Create and implement safety plans and ensure daily adherence across departments
โ€ข Conduct regular safety observations, audits, and risk assessments
โ€ข Participate in safety walks, inspections, and committee meetings to identify and mitigate potential hazards
โ€ข Educate employees on safety standards, expectations, and proper equipment operation
โ€ข Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
โ€ข Maintain OSHA and company safety documentation, incident logs, and records
โ€ข Track and report safety performance metrics (e.g., TRIR, DART) to monitor continuous improvement
โ€ข Manage Workersโ€™ Compensation records, injury logs, and related documentation
โ€ข Coordinate and deliver safety training for new hires and ongoing employee education
โ€ข Support emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response procedures
