We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead and oversee safety programs supporting aircraft maintenance, aviation operations, and drone operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and workforce safety across aerospace and defense operations.

The ideal candidate is a proven safety professional with a strong aviation background who can develop effective safety programs, drive compliance initiatives, and foster a culture where safety is embedded into every aspect of operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and administer aviation safety programs supporting aircraft, drone, maintenance, and hangar operations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with DCMA INST 8210 requirements, OSHA regulations, FAA standards, and applicable military safety requirements.
  • Conduct safety reviews, assessments, audits, inspections, and risk evaluations across operational areas.
  • Oversee hangar safety programs, fire prevention initiatives, and workplace safety compliance efforts.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to ensure employees remain qualified and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and records for employee safety training, certifications, onboarding, licensing, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the safe operation and regulatory compliance of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and other mission-critical assets.
  • Investigate safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner with leadership, Human Resources, and operational teams to address safety concerns and support workforce accountability.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement and operational readiness.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Aviation, Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field; or minimum of 10 years of supervisory or leadership experience in aviation safety, industrial safety, military operations, or regulatory compliance.
  • Military Aviation Safety Course graduate, aviation safety background, or industrial compliance experience preferred.
  • Must be eligible for and able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Documented experience in aviation safety, industrial safety, or related compliance environments.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA, OSHA, military aviation safety, fire protection, and occupational health requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and training initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct audits, inspections, investigations, and compliance reviews.
  • Experience working in highly regulated aerospace, aviation, defense, or industrial environments.
