Job Summary and Responsibilities

Some of what you will do:

1. Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary and public areas as assigned daily following established procedures.

2. Operates manual, battery-powered and electric equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums. Maintains and stores all equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.

3. Collects, handles and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens in the prescribed manner.

4. Completes stat and routine discharge room cleans.

5. Adheres to all hospital required Safety, Risk Management and Infection Control practices

6. Identifies and reports work orders for maintenance/refurbishing needs.

7. Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and need for repair.

**Eligible for a $1,500 Sign On Bonus and Shift Differential**
