The Customer Program Manager is responsible for meeting the needs of our customers, managing assigned programs, and insuring operational excellence. This position oversees and manages multiple customer-related projects including defining objectives, implementing strategies, tracking progress, and collaborating with cross-functional team members to achieve success.


  • Manages projects and teams in a matrixed environment with minimal oversight to support the customer.
  • Develops creative strategies to bridge customers’ needs to ITT business practices.
  • Builds influential relationships with internal stakeholders and customers through performance and execution.
  • Partners with sales team to support account strategy and drive sales growth.
  • Engages with customers to capture requirements, gains consensus amongst internal team and leads customer engagements.
  • Program management of simple to complex programs: identifying project goals, scope, resources, deliverables, tasks, and timeline.
  • Monitors performance and progress, identifies potential risks and drives corrective action as required.
  • Communicates program status to key stakeholders, both internally and customer contacts.
  • Facilitates cross functional collaboration amongst our team to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators to measure program success.
  • Identifies potential risks to stated deliverables, drives mitigation strategies proactively.

  • Technical Degree with 5+ years aerospace or defense technical customer management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects in an unstructured environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and global employees at all levels of the organization, including the ability to motivate, energize, and enhance performance of teammates. 
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to develop win-win solutions with our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather data, analyze program performance, manage risks and drive improvements
  • Polished presentation and communication skills

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Annual salary range is from $132,600.00 to $198,200.00, plus benefits & incentive plan.
