Position Overview
The Safety Program Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Safety Director and field teams by managing the administrative and programmatic functions of Optiline's safety initiatives. This includes coordinating safety training, tracking compliance, organizing inspection results, analyzing safety data, and promoting a culture of safety and accountability across all job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Compliance Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate recurring and ad hoc safety trainings (e.g., OSHA 10/30, lift certifications, fall protection).
  • Maintain and update training records and certifications for all field staff and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with company and regulatory safety requirements.

Inspection & Incident Support
  • Organize and track jobsite safety inspections and audits.
  • Compile safety observation and inspection reports for analysis and trend tracking.
  • Assist in logging and documenting incidents, near-misses, and follow-up corrective actions.

Program Administration
  • Maintain internal safety databases and digital tracking systems.
  • Support the implementation of safety programs and initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for executive leadership and client-facing meetings.

Field Communication & Support
  • Serve as a liaison between the Safety Director, field teams, and project management to ensure safety communication is clear and actionable.
  • Help coordinate distribution of safety materials, PPE, and training resources.
  • Support company-wide safety campaign rollouts across job sites.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in construction administration, safety, or training coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with safety tracking software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Passion for promoting a safe and positive workplace culture.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
