This position will be available at the Chemours, DeLisle facility located in **Pass Christian, Mississippi**, and report directly to the Plant Manager.Relocation assistance is available for this role.**The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*** Lead site-wide Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Process Safety Management (PSM), emergency response, security, and compliance programs to achieve safety, regulatory, and operational objectives.* Drive a strong safety culture through visible field leadership, coaching, employee engagement, and accountability at all organizational levels.* Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Technology, and Training teams to ensure EHS requirements are effectively integrated into daily operations.* Lead and develop the site's EHS and Training teams, including performance management, employee development, and succession planning.* Provide technical guidance and oversight for OSHA compliance, PSM programs, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.* Support regulatory inspections, audits, agency interactions, and continuous improvement of EHS management systems, including RC14001 requirements.* Develop, implement, and sustain EHS strategies, objectives, and annual improvement plans aligned with site and company goals.* Ensure all regulatory, operational, and employee training requirements are planned, delivered, documented, and maintained.* Manage EHS resources and priorities to ensure compliance commitments are met while supporting safe and efficient operations.* Serve as a member of the site leadership team, driving operational excellence through Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.**The following is required for this role:*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Safety Management, or a closely related technical discipline.* 10+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience, including significant Process Safety Management (PSM) responsibilities within a high-hazard manufacturing environment.* 2+ years of people leadership experience, including employee coaching, performance management, and team development.* Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations, PSM requirements, incident investigation methodologies, RC14001 principles, and EHS management systems.* Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive culture change, and collaborate effectively across Operations, Maintenance, Technology, and other site functions.**The following is preferred for this role:*** Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.* Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, industrial gas, pulp and paper, or other OSHA PSM-covered manufacturing environments.* Prior operations experience such as Production Engineer, Operations Supervisor, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership roles.* Industrial Hygiene experience.* Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.**Benefits:**Competitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Packages401(k) MatchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramTuition ReimbursementCommuter BenefitsLearning and Development OpportunitiesStrong Inclusion and Diversity InitiativesCompany-paid Volunteer DayWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
