Responsibilities

Safety Manager | De Soto, Kansas

As a Safety Managerin De Soto, Kanasas, you will provide owner safety oversight during construction, commissioning, qualification, and validation. You will support high-risk work planning, contractor performance, incident investigations, and corrective action closure.

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

  • Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
  • Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years direct construction safety experience required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and state/local construction safety regulations
  • Experience with incident investigations, RCA, CAPA, and corrective action closure
  • Degree in a safety related field preferred. OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
  • Pharmaceutical, GMP, Commissioning, or Regulated Construction experience preferred
  • Basica Data Analysis preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
