Specialist is responsible for training new CSR's and CSA's in accordance with Gate Gourmet and airline requirements
Responsible for ramp safety observations and enforcement

Payrate:$27.00 - $29.00

Location:30 Inip Dr, Inwood, NY 11096

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all new hires are trained and qualified to operate company vehicles in the catering process according to GGI and Airline requirements

  • Monitors ramp safety on a shift basis

  • Ensures all safety books are up to date according to policy

  • Ensures CSR's and CSA's have up to date AOA badges and renewals in a timely manner

  • Conducts recurrent training

  • Ensures compliance to DOT requirements (if applicable)

  • Monitors safety in the building for compliance

  • Assists in investigations

  • Ensures Motor Vehicle Reports are obtained and reviewed for compliance

  • Ability to work various shifts and days

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED required

Work Experience:

  • In-Flight catering experience as a CSR, or six (6) months safety experience in a transportation company

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Valid Driver's Licenses (CDL if applicable)

  • AOA Security Badge. Custom Seal (if applicable)

  • Forklift Certification (if applicable)

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
