Warehouse Associate

Position Overview
PrimeSource Building Products is seeking dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associates to support daily warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization that values hard work, teamwork, and internal advancement.
Warehouse Associates play a critical role in the accurate handling, movement, and storage of materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven operation. This role offers a clear career path for individuals interested in advancing within warehouse operations, logistics, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks (as required by location)
  • Pick, pack, stage, and load orders accurately and efficiently
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying materials and documentation
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory and product movement
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas in accordance with safety standards
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and operational goals
  • Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience using RF scanners and inventory systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (training provided where applicable)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to safely climb ladders or platforms as required by the role
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as grasping, handling, and scanning
