Job Summary

Grande Juda is seeking our next Safety Manager II! In this role you will serve as the lead safety resource for our Juda, WI and Wyocena, WI manufacturing facilities, partnering with plant leadership to foster a strong, proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with corporate, OSHA, DOT, and environmental requirements. You will drive safety performance through incident investigations, regulatory compliance programs, training initiatives, emergency response coordination, audits, and continuous improvement efforts that protect associates and support operational excellence.

This role is ideal for a seasoned safety professional with expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) and risk mitigation within a manufacturing environment. You will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of PSM and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs, provide guidance on regulatory compliance, monitor industry best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and reduce risk. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, influential leader, and strategic partner dedicated to creating safer workplaces while supporting organizational goals and long-term sustainability.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Safety Management or other related field required. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) or more years of related safety management experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • At least one (1) or more years of related Process Safety Management experience required.
  • 30 hour OSHA compliance course required.
  • PSM Certification required - Garden State or similar
  • Comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety best practices, OSHA regulations, and disability management
  • Ability to be analytical and decisive
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) through all levels of Associates and management
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and being able to meet deadlines while working through interruptions
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with Associates in different departments and at all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of the PSM and RMP programs to the facility
  • Strong understanding with the ability to lead updates for the "Site Plan".

Preferred:

  • ASP/CSP (Associate Safety Professional/Certified Safety Professional) Certification is a plus.
